Flying on bike

I've been watching a few videos lately where pilots actually attach their bike to the harness so they can take off while still on the bike. It's a pretty slick move, but how common is this really? and if there are specific setups or tricks to make it work safely. Anyone here or whom you know tried this technique or seen it in action up close? does attaching the bike to the harness really make the transition smoother, or does it add a layer of complexity that's better avoided?
I wanna know if I'm gonna look into pulling this one off

Using a harness to attach the bike during takeoff is pretty rare and mostly done by experienced pilots. It can help keep the bike steady, but it adds extra complexity and risk, so most people avoid it.
