Flux Vario any good?

Has anyone here have any experience using Flux Vario? I'm looking for an app / flight instrument I can use to get essential and real-time flight information like vertical speed and thermals. I'd love to get feedback if you've used this for paragliding or if you have other recommendations.

Tried Flux Vario, it's a cool app that uses your phone's sensors to give you quick feedback on climbs, sink, and thermals. The sound feedback is great, but it doesn't have many navigation tools.

For cross country flying or if you need mapping, check out Flyskyhy (on iOS) or XC Vario (Android).

What phone do you have? Just need sound cues for climbs, or want full navigation too?

I've only encountered Flux Vario in discussions.
I've read and heard that some are happy with its responsiveness when properly set up with Pixel or Samsung phone models that have good barometers.
FlySkyHy is a popular choice, like what @SkyboundRunner mentioned.
Other than that, I think XCTrack is a huge favorite among Android users.
It's highly customizable and can also connect to external sensors for even more accurate data.

It's not going to fully replace a dedicated vario with more advanced features, but for essential info...altitude, climb/sink rate, GPS, it does the job well
