what's the best low weight and small glider for you?

yesterday, my coworkers and I had a conversation at work.

a paraglider pilot (65 kg, 74-76 kg flying weight) like me often feels disadvantaged flying XS gliders (65-85 kg range) compared to larger sizes, especially in windy conditions.
We thought of a few exceptions that perform well even at lower weights (Niviuk Klimber 2 P 20 near max weight, LittleCloud Urubu 21 at/above max, Independence Geronimo 3 XS even at 78 kg).

I know there are experienced lightweight pilots here, so can you guys recommend some gliders that best overcome the disadvantage of low weight and small size?

That's interesting. As a fellow light pilot, I totally get the struggle. XS gliders can feel a bit outgunned in windier conditions. Its great that you've already found exceptions like the Klimber 2 P etc.. I'd love to hear from others too, any gliders out here that punch above their weight (literally) and give us featherweights a fighting chance in tougher air?

Great topic, I'd suggest looking at gliders with a high aspect ratio and solid handling at the low end of their weight range, models like Ozone's Enzo or Gin's GTO might fit well

Ozone Zeolite GT or the Nova Mentor 7. I haven't tried them but heard that both can handle turbulence well for lighter pilots.

I completely understand what you mean! A while ago, I flew an XS Dudek, and honestly, it felt like I was being tossed around whenever the conditions got a bit intense. I ended up switching to a lightweight wing that offered a better trim range, and it really changed everything for the better
