Glider rod issue

I recently got my Symphonia2 glider and saw the center wing rod is a bit warped. The factory did a good job packing it, but folding the two halves together probably stressed that rod. Has anyone found a better way to pack it and should I be concerned or just see how it flies?

A slight warp from packing isnt uncommon, see how it flies first.
If handling feels off really, consider replacing it.
Padding or a support tube can help prevent future stress.

you should most definitely consider taking the rod out completely when storing for longer periods. If something feels off or unstable, then it's probably time to swap the rod.

The center rod takes some stress when the wing is folded tight, if the warp isn't extreme and everything else looks sound, it's usually fine once under tension in flight, maybe give it a few flights and see if it tracks straight, if not, then you should probably think of replacing the rod.
